OWS Bring Your Own Picnic Event 2026
The Ottawa Welsh Society invites you to a Family Picnic.
Date: Saturday 15 August 2026 (Rain date 16 August)
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: The home of Chris and Gina Smart at 75 Kenilworth St, in the area of the Civic Hospital, parking on the area streets.
What to bring:
– Your own dishes and cutlery
– Your own food, including something to barbecue, if you wish.
– Chair (Optional, there are some chairs available.)
Coffee, tea and lemonade will be provided.

The OWS holds a Welsh language class on the first Monday of each month, in the Swedish Restaurant at IKEA (Pinecrest) beginning at 10:30 a.m., ending at 12:00 p.m.
A chat group, called ‘Awr Sgwrsio’, meets at the same location and time on the third Monday of each month. This is open to Welsh speakers at all levels.
